Whenever the Truth speaks, He stands before you in a way you cannot escape. You either embrace Him and be free or deny Him and continue in your torment. Ask Governor Pilate.

He saw the Truth, heard the Truth, and knew the Truth! Yet, he struggled to interrogate the Truth.

“Are you the king of the Jews?” “What have you done?” “You are a king, then!” “What is truth?”

The Truth interrogated the Roman Governor, not the other way as it seemed. So, Pilate struggled to face himself before the Truth.

You see, Pilate’s problem was himself – like all of us when we refuse to accord the Truth His place in our life. We struggle and fight, but we lose.

Now there He is – The Truth put on trial before a human judge. Pilate knows not what to do, because he sits in the wrong seat. The judgment seat belongs to the Man who stands before him on trial.

So, for all you Pilates out there. The truth is a Person!

His name is Jesus, the man you’re struggling to judge.

Every other person is an impostor.

Every other story or proposition is false,

Every other promise is deceptive.

Every other desire is vain.

Embrace Him, and you have life eternal. Reject Him, and you sentence yourself to death.

It is your choice.
