But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.
2 Corinthians 4:7-9
Confession and Plea
Lord, we acknowledge our fragility in the face of this pandemic. We confess our vulnerability today. The reality of our nothingness apart from you confronts us every day. All that we are, all that we have, and all that we can be depends on you. How we have become arrogant with what you have committed to our care. Father forgive us.
We confess our weakness today. For, we are hard-pressed and perplexed by this pandemic. But because of your tender mercies and abundant grace in Christ Jesus, we’re not broken or in despair. For you have not abandoned us to the ravages of this plague. Thank you, Father, for the protection we have in our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, who encourages us every day.
May your Spirit embrace us with your comfort and encouragement. May you fill us with joy for our strength. And may you prosper us with His power, love, and soundness of mind in Christ Jesus our Lord (2 Timothy 1:7).
Amen!

This is a powerful prayer from the depth of a man’s heart. A man that is not ashamed to show his vulnerability and dependence on ABBA, our Father. A broken and a contrite heart, the Father says HE will not rejected. May God, our Father hear this prayer as we collectively pray to Him and heal our land as we humble ourselves and realize that without Him we are nothing. God bless you Mr Baafi.
