But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that.

Your Encouragement

You are not somebody else. You are you – unique and blessed by God. Your contentment cannot be found in somebody’s affirmation. So, do not assess yourself and your successes through other people’s lenses.

Thank God for your life today and be content with what He has given you. He knows about tomorrow’s needs, and He has promised to honor His name in your welfare (Matt. 6:31-34).

While you are there, bless somebody else. Thank God for what they have and pray for their peace in Christ.

“Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep,equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen” (Heb. 13:20-21).
