Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O Lord, do not abandon those who search for you.
Psalm 9:10
For Your Encouragement
Continue to trust in the Lord, you who know His name as your Lord and Savior. He is Jesus Christ, your gracious and compassionate God. He is the Lamb of God (Jn. 1:29) and the Lion of the Tribe of Judah (Rev. 5:5) – a combination that defies reason. At the mention of His name, “every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Phil. 2:10-11).
The world is still unsettled, and nations are in an uproar. People yearn to know what is beyond the horizon of COVID-19, yet nothing they come up with inspires confidence. If only they knew Him who knows it all and rules over all things!
They say science rules, but science has not delivered what Man seeks. Yes, science gives indications, but everything is at the command of God and His providential care. Science only discovers what He opens by divine grace according to His will and purpose. That is why you who know Him beyond the confines of science must rejoice and continue to trust Him through this storm.
“Peace be still,” and the proud waves will lose their strength, and all will be quiet. “What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the seas obey him?” they will say (Mk. 4:39-41 AKJV). That is the majesty of the One whose name you know and in whom you trust.
So, call on Him in every situation, and He will hear you. He will never leave you nor forsake you (Heb. 13:5-6).
Have a blessed day and a glorious life in Christ.
