For Meditation

The world is in turmoil and uproar. Distress and uncertainty have invaded almost every home. At such a time like this, I want to encourage you with the message and promises of Psalm 46. It speaks to such a time like this and brings God near you for comfort, encouragement, and strength.

God is your refuge. Never forget that!

He is your ever-present help at this time of need.

So, don’t be afraid.

Though democratic governance seems to be giving way to anarchy, and the whole world order is convulsing, and COVID-19 has hijacked our known way of life, God is on His throne.   

He says, “Be still, and know that I am God,

I will be exalted among the nations,

I will be exalted in the earth.” (v.10)

The Lord Almighty is with you, my friend, even as you step out today.

The God of Jacob is your fortress (v.11).

So, you are covered!

Pray through this Psalm and receive His peace to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Amen!
