And Hezekiah prayed to the Lord: “Lord, the God of Israel, enthroned between the cherubim, you alone are God over all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth.

For Your Encouragement.

Who is the enemy that has risen against you? What situation is threatening your life, your household, finances, health, and what have you? Though you have seen the potency of this threat and how it has afflicted other people, devastated their homes and businesses, raise your eyes to the Lord this morning and worship the Lord. 

Pray with Hezekiah today, when Sennacherib taunted Judah (2 Kings 19:14-19), and behold the beauty and wonder of your Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

• Acknowledge God for who He is—enthroned above as King of kings and Lord of lords.
• Acknowledge Him as only God—there is none like Him.
• Acknowledge Him as Sovereign Ruler over all the kingdoms of the earth.
• Acknowledge Him as Almighty God, who alone is your Helper and Deliverer.  
• Entreat Him to come to your rescue for His name’s sake.
• Give Him glory—exalt His holy name. 
• Worship Him in the beauty of holiness and give Him praise.

Now, relax and go about your day and see what your Sovereign Lord will do. He will glorify His name in your situation, because you have acknowledged Him this morning.
