Zephaniah 3:17

New Living Translation (NLT)

For the Lord your God is living among you.
    He is a mighty savior.
He will take delight in you with gladness.
    With his love, he will calm all your fears.
    He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.”

For Encouragement

• As you live and breathe today, who is living with you?
• Is He not a Mighty Savior, as the Psalmist affirms (Zephaniah 3:17)?
• What is the disposition of His heart towards you?
• Can you feel His embrace now—the warmth of His calming love?
• Does fear stand a chance with you now, as it was with you a few minutes ago?
• So why don’t you sing and dance with God as He joyfully celebrates over your life with singing?
• Think about it—God Almighty joyfully singing over you!
• I don’t know what else can cause your heart to be at peace if this doesn’t.
• Is it not cause to be thankful for goodness today?
• So, can you lift a cup of thanks now to your Savior, Christ Jesus, our Lord?
• Can you celebrate Him today—from the recesses of your heart?
