To experience the joy of the resurrection daily is the power of sanctification. It is an experience that renews our minds and informs our actions. The wonderful surprise of the morning on the third day after Calvary gives us the power to live anew in our resurrected and reigning Lord every moment of our life. It renews our hope as we behold the glory of Jesus amid the festive throng of angels and the redeemed who fall at His feet forever. 

Glory, Hallelujah!

We behold our Savior’s face each moment when we remember His resurrection. It is an experience that shatters every darkness and lifts all heaviness from our life. Temptation loses its power, and that exalts Christ in our actions. The resurrection of Jesus is a reality to live and experience every day in the believer’s life.

Remember the words the angel spoke to the women on that glorious morning: “Fear not, for I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; He is risen, just as He said” (Matt. 28:5-6).

Let this joyful news greet you every morning when you wake, remembering that you are alive because Jesus is alive and seated at the right hand of the Father in majesty and power. Because He lives, death has no relevance for you. Be alive, therefore, in Him each moment and experience His resurrection power in your life.
