He Knows You Are Praying.

Acts 9:11

New King James Version

So, the Lord said to him, “Arise and go to the street called Straight, and inquire at the house of Judas for one called Saul of Tarsus, for behold, he is praying.

For Encouragement

The Lord knows you are praying. He sees your agonizing heart. No tears of yours fall to the ground that He does not capture in His record of remembrance (Psalm 56:8).

On bended knees, you cry to Him who alone can help you. Take heart, for God hears you. How could He not, when you have yielded your heart to Him for His residence? His Spirit in you understands your groans and sighs (Rm. 8:26). He understands the language of your weakness and assists you when words fail you.

Look to Him who sits on His throne of grace to receive you, my friend. He will adorn you with mercy and grace in your time of need (Hebrews 4:16). Just as He saw Saul of Tarsus on his knees on Straight Street and heard him (Acts 9:11), so your Savior sees and hears your cry. Remember how swiftly He dispatched Ananias to Saul’s side to help him gain understanding and strength from on high. Even now, your dispatch is on his way to your side.

The Prince of Persia may delay him for a moment, but heaven has more angels with more power to get your dispatch through to you (Dan. 10:12-14).

If it takes making a king sleepless to remember your good deed that has gone unanswered, God will do it to get you the recognition and honor you deserve by His grace. It will confound and humiliate your enemies when God orders them to serve you as His anointed (Esther 6:1-12).

So, hang tough and keep pushing the prayer wagon. Your day is just another word or a tear away (Habakkuk. 2:3; Isa. 40:31).
