Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.

Your Encouragement

Jesus is standing at the door of your heart, waiting for you to let Him in. (Rev. 3:20). If you let Him, who owns your heart, come in, He will gladly have intimate fellowship with you. What a privilege!

Contrast this with something else, which is crouching at your door, wanting to have control of you – sin (Gen. 4: 7). God says, don’t let the intruder do it. Instead, master it. Remember what happened when Cain spurned the counsel of God?

So, what is it going to be? Who will you yield control of your life to—Jesus or sin?

The choice is obvious for you, but yours to make, child of God.
