Colossians 4:6
New International Version
Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.
Your Encouragement
None of us can do without grace. Mindful of this, Paul tells us to be gracious to one another in conversations (Col. 4:6). We need to listen to understand each other, for if I must listen to you, I must enjoy the conversation. That is why our conversation must be gracious and attractive to receive a positive response from others.
Such a response is vital in our gospel presentation. The gospel is the story of life and death that demands attention and response from our audience (1 Corinthians 15:3-9).
Let us, therefore, tell our story of Jesus with grace and make it a pleasure for people to listen and for us to listen to each other.
Shalom.
