Just Say, “Amen”!

For Encouragement
There is no deception in the Lord. What God says is what you get. God does not waste His words. They are purposeful and never return to Him void. His pronouncements always accomplish His desires and achieve His purposes (Isa. 55:8-11).

God is faithful to the core. He is not a man to lie, for He is immutable and cannot change His mind. Has He said it and cannot act on it with precision? Have you ever heard of any promise God has made since creation that He has not fulfilled in the fullness of time? How could you not trust Him to fulfill and accomplish every promise left for His sovereign fulfillment according to His Will and good pleasure in Christ? Do you see why you can say “Amen!” to every promise He has made to you in Christ?

Did He fail Abraham and Sarah concerning Isaac (Gen. 15:4; 18:10)? How about Jacob concerning His Bethel Promise (28:19-19)? Did He not deliver Israel from Egypt (Exod 12:51) and bring them through the Red Sea (14:21-22) and the Jordan River at flood stage (Jos. 4:10-13) to get them into the Promised Land (5:10-12), fulfilling His promise to Abraham in Genesis 15:12-16?

Did the prophetic pronouncements of Moses, the Psalmists, Isaiah, and all the other prophets ever fail concerning the Messiah? Didn’t God send His Son at the set time, born of a virgin, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that they might receive adoption to sonship (Gal. 4:4,5)? Is that not why you can claim your place in the kingdom of God through Christ Jesus (Col. 1:13-14)?

So, go through the Bible and interrogate God on any of His promises made to His people and point to any one whose time has come, but He could not bring to pass. Then marvel at his power and faithfulness in Christ Jesus.

Can you then calm your soul this morning in Christ and say, “Amen” to every word God has said and joyfully move on with your life fearlessly and with purpose and prevail to the glory of Christ? He will never fail you.

Pray with Me

Father, help me say Amen to every promise you have made and trust you through it in Christ Jesus, my Lord. AMEN!

Shalom.
