Psalm 145:3

New International Version (NIV)

Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise;
his greatness no one can fathom.

For meditation

1. Do you acknowledge the greatness on our Lord, who is the Great King over the entire universe and all other rulers? Can you measure His greatness? Is He not worthy of your praise (Ps. 145:3)?
2. So, why don’t you commend Him to the next generation, so that they too could tell of Him to the generation after them (4)? Are you not mesmerized by the wonderful works of His hands? What’s stopping you then?
3. As you ponder over His majesty, the magnificence and riches of God’s creation, and His miraculous hand that intricately weaved them all together, how can you fail to shout it to the next generation (5)?
4. Doesn’t His amazing power that created and sustains everything hold you spellbound (6)? Don’t you hear it proclaimed from the lips of all peoples and languages around the world? So how can you not join in this chorus of praise to the King of glory?
5. How can you fail to join in the festive celebration of God’s abundant goodness and to sing about His righteousness everyday (7)? Isn’t that your testimony about the greatness of God, the Eternal King – a testimony that has the power to resound through all generations?

I pray you will exalt the God of all creation for the splendor of His majesty and praise Him for His goodness, now and forever. As you do that, realize the joy that bubbles in your heart and the energy that flows to you for victory, every day of your life.

So: May your voice be heard out of the multitudes in heaven and on earth, who are praising the King of glory every day for His awesome deeds; and may every opposition, hindrance or barrier that stands in your way to His throne of grace, break down and melt away as your voice is raised every morning, afternoon, evening and night.
