Your Marching Order

Exodus 14:15

New International Version (NIV)

Tell the Israelites to move on.

For Meditation

When a child of God comes up against a seemingly insurmountable wall in life, the Father’s reassuring voice is heard. He says, “Move on. Don’t stop. I will clear the obstacle for you.”

That is the God you serve. He is the One who makes a way where there is no way. When He leads, nothing can stop you. So, plough on! Don’t stop. Don’t give up.

Disregard the person who is pursuing you. They cannot get to you. Your God will stand between you and them like a mighty wall they can’t scale. In the end, you will look on and only see their demise.
For the seemingly insurmountable obstacle ahead of you, let His command resonate in your ears: “Proud sea. Open! Give way, and let my child go.”

Lift up your voice and speak to that situation. Your voice has authority and power over it in Jesus’ command: “Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground” (Exodus 14:16).

That’s your matching order from your Lord. He is your Captain before whom death fled on the third day after Calvary. He’s your mighty Warrior and conquering King.

You will be singing by the end of the day. You’ll be praising Him like Moses and the Israelites did after the Red Sea crossing (15:1-18).

So, be still and know that Jesus is God. He will be exalted among the nations. He will be exalted in the earth.

“The Lord Almighty is with [you]; the God of Jacob is [your] fortress” (Ps. 46:10-11).

Shalom
