The Dawn of Joy

Weeping may stay for the night,
but rejoicing comes in the morning – Psalms 30:5

In all your troubles and suffering, God is working for your restoration and joy. Your pain will not last forever. Your struggles are momentary. They checked into your life, only for a brief stay.

So, take heart. For the sun will rise soon, and those pain and suffering must check out just as they checked in. Then joy will flood your heart with its delights, and you will be loosed from the crucible to sing your Redeemer’s praise. You will rejoice in His presence and praise Him all the days of your life.

In the meantime, remember that those momentary intruders, “are achieving for [you] an eternal glory that far outweighs them all” (2 Cor. 4:17).

Shalom
